The Council of Young Scientists<\/span><\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Council of Young Scientists (CYS)<\/b>\u00a0is an association of young scientists who are full-time employees of the University, created to protect the rights and interests of young scientists on research, support of science-intensive ideas, innovation and knowledge exchange, comprehensive support of research and invention of young scientists, providing a systematic approach in the training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the highest qualification, preservation and development of the scientific potential of BSMU.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Anastasiia Kotelban\n<\/span><\/h2><\/div>

Kotelban Anastasiia, Master of Medicine (2015), Clinical Resident (2017), Candidate of Medical Sciences (2018); Associate Professor (2021).<\/p>\n

In 2013, she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry of Bukovinian State Medical University. From 2013 to 2015, she completed an internship in the specialty \"Dentistry\" at the City Dental Clinic and Bukovinian State Medical University. From 2013 to 2015, she also studied for a master's degree at the Department of Surgical and Pediatric Dentistry. In 2015, she defended her master's scientific and qualification work on the topic: \"Clinical and immunological aspects of dental diseases in children with type I diabetes mellitus\" (diploma M16 No. 048172).<\/p>\n

From 2015 to 2017, she studied in clinical residency at the Department of Surgical and Pediatric Dentistry of the Higher State Educational Institution of Ukraine \"Bukovinian State Medical University\", specializing in Dentistry, and worked as an assistant at the same department.<\/p>\n

In 2018, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: \"Clinical and immunological characteristics of chronic catarrhal gingivitis in children with diabetes mellitus and ways of its correction\" in the specialty 14.01.22 - \"Dentistry\" (diploma DK \u2116 049051).<\/p>\n

In September 2019, she was promoted to the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and in 2021 she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of this department.<\/p>\n

Scientific achievements: 40 scientific papers, including 7 articles in professional journals of Ukraine (1 - Web of Science), 9 - in international journals (3 - Scopus, 4 - Web of Science), 14 publications in scientific journals, collections, abstracts of congresses, congresses, conferences. He received 4 patents of Ukraine for utility model, 5 information letters and 2 innovations.<\/p>\n

Areas of research: epidemiological dental studies of children, development of regionally adapted prevention programs; comorbidity of dental and somatic pathologies in children; study of the effect of essential and xenobiotic microelements on the morphological and functional state of oral tissues; molecular genetic markers of dental diseases in children.<\/p>\n<\/div>
